Question 1: In line with the installation conditions, the pipeline is very new and the material is good, why can't the signal be received?


A: Confirm whether the pipeline parameters are set correctly, whether the installation method is correct, whether the connecting wire is in good contact, whether the coupling agent is applied enough, whether the pipeline is full of fluid, whether the probe is installed according to the installation distance displayed by the machine, and whether the probe installation direction is wrong.

Question 2: The pipeline is outdated, the inner wall of the pipeline is seriously fouled, and the signal cannot be received or the signal is too weak during measurement, what should I do?

Answer: 1. Confirm whether the pipeline is full of fluid.

2. The Z method should be used to install the probe (if the pipeline is too close to the wall, the probe can be installed on the diameter of the pipeline with an inclined angle, not on the diameter of the horizontal pipeline);

3. Carefully select the dense part of the pipeline and fully polish it, apply sufficient coupling agent to install the probe;

4. Move each probe slowly and carefully around the installation point to find the maximum signal point, so as to prevent the ultrasonic beam from being reflected out of the expected area due to scaling on the inner wall of the pipeline or due to local deformation of the pipeline and missing the signal that can receive a strong signal. mount point;

5. For metal pipes with severe scaling on the inner wall, the method of beating can be used to make the scaling part fall off or crack (note: this method sometimes does not help the transmission of ultrasonic waves because of the voids between the scaling and the inner wall).

Question 3: Why does the current loop not output current?

Answer: Open the machine panel to check the hardware circuit settings, whether the short circuit near the No. 22 terminal is placed in the 1-2 position, you can directly output the current mode (the 2-3 position sets the current loop output to the sensor mode that requires an external power supply ).

Question 4: Why does the output current value of the current loop seem to be wrong?

Answer: 1. Check the M55 window to see if the required current output mode is set;

2. Check whether the upper and lower current limits set in the M56 and M57 windows are appropriate;

3. Recalibrate the current loop and verify it with M49.

Question 5: It is obvious that there is flow in the pipeline, and the machine also displays the "*R" status, but the instantaneous flow displayed by the machine is zero at this time, what's going on?

A: Is the "static zero point setting" used when there is fluid flow (refer to the description of M42). If so, use M43 to restore the machine's original factory default zero point.

Question 6: The measurement site of my unit is bad, and the power supply voltage fluctuates greatly. I am worried that the machine can really work 24 hours a day for several years?

A: The XDL flowmeter is designed to work reliably under such conditions. It uses intelligent signal processing circuits and algorithms inside, which can adapt to strong interference situations and adapt to changes in the strength of ultrasonic signals; its requirements for AC power supply voltage are 140V~280V. The requirement for the DC power supply voltage is 8V~36V. So far, the JC100 series flowmeter has not been placed unused due to instrument failure.

Question 7: The signal strength of the new version of the flowmeter seems to be "smaller", does it affect the measurement?

A: Compared with the fifth version of the flowmeter, it is "smaller"! This is only a superficial phenomenon, because this value is a relative value. In no way affects the measurement. In fact, you will find that the new version has a high Q value, the indication value is very stable, and the measurement is more accurate.
